The Anglicans founded Christ Church in 1868
It was
- Demolished by cyclone in 1885 and rebuilt using the original timbers
- Decommissioned and stripped for demolition in 1996 but saved when chapel and cemetery were Heritage Listed
Restored by the Friends of Tingalpa Cemetery Heritage Group Inc with permission of the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane
The chapel is now available for civil and religious weddings
